A Plea for Impermanence
A Plea for Impermanence is a multidisciplinary solo contemporary dance work that explores the impermanence of the human condition through its connections to the body, matter, and ecology. The performance features a sensitive and evolving dialogue between a performer and a mannequin figure, examining the intersection of natural and artificial, animate and inanimate. The mannequin serves as a monolith—a temporal and evolutionary sanctuary where the performer periodically returns to find renewal and reflection. Throughout the work, the relationship between these two entities fluctuates between interdependence and solitude.
